There Be Monsters Here!

Miling Hotel

Well, actually there, at the Miling Hotel; now the location of the new office of ‘The World Turned Upside Down’, and as such ,this project ‘There Be monsters Here’.

Hence, an open invite to all every Friday to come in for a yarn, the office is in, wait for it, room 13! Within you will find the dastardly beast that is I. So, from 1200 to 1500 I am yours, and I want, nay, need your tales of ghosts, bushrangers, strange animals, characters, lost treasures, bush yarns and contemporary legends plus folklore and folklife around the local area.

I have read two of your stories thus far and thoroughly enjoyed them both. I read Yerecoin first, as the name attracted me, and, being an American, I read it as such. It made sense to me, but in a very different way than it did once I figured out it was an Australian story. Each of our continents has our ghosts, our persistent reminders of the past. I found your writing welcoming, engaging and creepy. Thank you.

    1. Thank you Rosalind! I am flattered.
