About

Heinous bloody murder! Villains, thieves, rouges and scallywags! Things that go bump in the night!  Curiouser and curiouser the tell-tale weave of mystery ensnares all its dastardly tendrils encounter! And why damn it?! “Why?!” I hear you scream, as tears the size of October cabbages meander haphazardly down your grim yet resolute cheeks! Your lust for story, unpiqued, drives the madness of desire ever onward!

Pffffftttttttt…………………what a load of bollocks.

My dodgy blog started life dedicated to unearthing those tales specific to the ghosts, bush rangers, strange animals, characters, lost treasures, bush yarns and contemporary legends. Plus folklore and folklife I have amassed from the oral histories of the people within the districts of Williams, Beacon, Wialki, Victoria Plains, Dandaragan, and Moora; rural Western Australia.

Thank you for having a look, oh, and as a reminder (seriously, who wants to add this bit to their ‘about’ page?) all posts and associated intellectual properties regards ‘therebemonstershere.com’ remain ©The World Turned Upside Down.

    1. The ‘Aust.’ stuff is toward the very start of this blog. I must warn you, it is seriously dodgy, although a publisher apparently likes it. Super groovy, and it is awesome to see your blog again. You are the best! N

I like how you hang onto story threads and retell from different perspectives. That’s art.
I scrolled back a way and got stuck. Is there a way of fast-forwarding? It’s internet that’s dodgy here, sooooooo sloooooowwwww.
